David Harr - Owner/Striking Coach

David spent the majority of his life involved in fitness and playing various sports as a teenager. He started off in strength and conditioning then transitioned to high intensity interval training. This eventually led him to being fully involved in combat sports. He actively competed in Muay Thai and kickboxing for 5 years with mixed results. As much as he enjoyed competing, he really found success in coaching. Spending several years traveling from coast to coast and training with some of the best gyms in the US, his passion grew in helping improve the lives of those around him. He has always had a hard-working, “no quit” mentality in and out of the ring and thrives in building confidence. He is also a PA licensed matchmaker for USKA, arranging bouts in Muay Thai, kickboxing, and most recently mma.

Keith Neff - Head BJJ Instructor

Keith started Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training in 1999 under Royler Gracie-David Adiv Black Belt Rosendo Diaz. Keith has been teaching BJJ classes since 2003 and helped bring BJJ to Berks County and the surrounding areas. In October of 2009, Keith received his Black Belt from Royler Gracie, David Adiv and Rosendo Diaz. Keith has a specific passion for helping new students understand BJJ on a conceptual level thereby allowing one to quickly gain grappling proficiency.

Errol “Junior” Washington - Boxing/Kickboxing Coach

Junior has over 40 years experience in martial arts, training both professional boxers and kickboxers. For 30 years, he ran and operated his own academy but closed due to covid. He has high level knowledge in martial arts/strength and conditioning and continues to assist athletes compete, finding success in their sport.

Assistant Instructors

Dylan DeLay - BJJ Coach

Dylan is a bjj purple belt and also assists with our mma program and fighters. He has been involved in combat sports for over a decade. He has competed in bjj and continues to train with high level athletes at his home gym, Berks County BJJ.

Alaina “Queen” Dutill - Cardio/Kickboxing Coach

Alaina has been training in martial arts since she was seven years old. She is a 2nd degree black belt and a Delaware state champion holder for karate. She is an advanced blue belt in BJJ, and has also been training in MMA for five years. She is an active fighter that has competed in MMA , Muay Thai, kickboxing, and numerous BJJ tournaments. Alaina is a full time Registered Nurse and in the Army National Guard.

Jake Himmelberger - Advanced Youth Instructor

Jake started Taekwondo training at the age of 4 through the American Taekwondo Association and has over 17 years of experience. He achieved the rank of 4th degree black belt in 2016, and actively traveled to compete and train. He also coached for many years within the community with all age groups. In the time since, Jake has dabbled in various other martial arts, primarily kickboxing for the past 2 years. Jake uses his experience coaching and his unique striking skillset to work with our advanced kickboxing kids class to introduce them to sparring and strategy. Jake also occasionally works on advanced kicking and stretching with our adult team members.
